Thousands of songs were uploaded on Mdundo from all over Africa in a variety of genres in the month of August. These ranged from songs from the biggest labels to releases by independent artists.
The most downloaded new release of August was New Born Fela by Bella Shmurda, the afro beat artist continuing to show why he is one of the biggest artists in Nigeria. Other notable artists in the top 10 include Joeboy, Willy Paul and Jay Melody who have all released popular songs in August.
