Fast-rising Nigerian singer and songwriter Jjae releases his new single, “SAFALE,” Produced by JASE, who also worked on Jjae’s debut single All A Lie, the new release builds on the momentum he has created since his 2025 introduction to the music scene.
While All A Lie introduced listeners to Jjae’s introspective Afro-fusion sound, “SAFALE” takes the story deeper. The emotional new song explores the challenge of walking away from a complicated relationship, capturing the tension between still wanting someone and recognising their toxic behaviour.
Built around a smooth, mid-tempo groove, “SAFALE” blends Afro-fusion and R&B with introspective production. The song explores themes of love, desire, vulnerability, and emotional conflict, giving listeners another look into Jjae’s honest and personal songwriting style.
Jjae is already building momentum as one of the exciting emerging artists in Nigerian music. With more than 100,000 streams across platforms and over 2 million TikTok views, he is steadily growing his audience. He also opened for Young Jonn and Gabzy at Elite Fest, giving fans their first opportunity to experience his sound live.
Born Praise Ubadike and raised in Lagos, Jjae has been drawn to music and performance from a young age. His sound combines Afro-fusion, R&B, EDM, trap, and reggae, influenced by artists including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Rihanna, Davido, Chris Brown, and Damian Marley.
