In every beat, there’s a story and for Badmanprezzy, that story begins in the heart of Lagos. Born Odiase Precious on July 4th, the Nigerian artist has carved his lane as a voice for the dreamers, the hustlers, and everyone finding faith in the chaos. A graduate of Music and Performing Arts from Olabisi Onabanjo University, his artistry fuses street truth with soulful melody. His sound, a rich blend of Afrobeats, introspection, and urban grit, paints vivid pictures of survival, success, and the unbreakable human spirit.
From early hits like “Dat Love” featuring Oladips and “Big Things” to his acclaimed 2023 EP Phrase, Signs & Vision, Badmanprezzy has proven his evolution is rooted in purpose. His music is both a mirror and a message reflecting the highs and lows of life while reminding listeners that every setback is just a setup for something greater. Each lyric feels intentional, crafted from lived experience and spiritual growth, making him one of the most authentic new voices in Nigeria’s contemporary soundscape.
Now, with his latest project Survival, Badmanprezzy steps into a new chapter. The EP is more than music; it’s a testimony, an anthem for endurance and self-belief. Tracks like “Alubarika”, “Many Things”, and “I Want U” featuring Badboy Timz show his versatility, while collaborations with Waveboii and SAMAD highlight his global appeal. Blending Afrofusion, soul, and street rhythm, Survival captures the fire it takes to rise from the struggle and turn pain into power. For Badmanprezzy, this isn’t just a return, it’s a rebirth, and the world is finally catching up to his sound.
